Who we work with:
EticoTEC exists to serve the Social Enterprise community and all other organisations that exist make the world a better place for everybody. But you don’t have to be a social enterprise or community interest company, we also work with charities, NGOs, non-profits and educational institutes - or anybody doing anything we think is really cool – because there are lots of things that make the world a better place that aren’t strictly classified under any of the above categories. We think that some art makes the world a better place. And then again we also think some art doesn’t. But our main focus is on organisations that are making a real difference in the world, not stuff that is borderline.
Which brings us to our next piece...
Who we don’t work with:
We at EticoTec ask ourselves: where do we draw the line of who we choose to work with? Would we work with a weapons manufacturer who gave 10% of their profits to a seemingly worthy charity? Quite simply, no we wouldn’t. We don’t believe in killing, regardless of who you are, what your PR company tells you to do, or how much money you offer to pay us.
Nor do we support financial institutions that create money out of thin air and then loan that money to third world countries in the form of foreign aid (under the guise of doing good in the world) only for the money to be spent by corrupt governments on infrastructure that brings no good the people and only helps the rich exploit the country further and rape it for all its got. And if the theme’s not becoming obvious to you - keep reading….
Etico = Ethics:
Etico means Ethical in Italian. It is core message of this company, and the strategy we are employing to help make the world a better place.
Our intention is focused on what we do want to achieve, not on what we don’t. We believe that by focusing on our vision and mission, we will attract likeminded organisations with whom we will create harmonious, synergistic and long term relationships, and in the spirit of unity and collaboration (as opposed to isolation and competition) together we’ll create amazing change in the world. If that appeals, then we’d love to meet you. We think we’ve got a few tricks up our sleeve you might be interested in ;-)
